On May 17, an Aurora SA60L, developed by Starair Aircraft Co., Ltd., successfully completed a high-altitude flight demonstration at the Deji Scenic Area in Jainca County, Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. At an altitude of 2,100 meters, the aircraft took off and landed smoothly on a simple runway just 600 meters long. Pilots from the Sunward aerobatic team performed multiple aerobatic maneuvers amid complex airflow, remaining stable and smooth throughout the flight. The Starair Aircraft Co., Ltd., based in Zhuzhou, is a high-tech aviation enterprise. This flight set a new record for professional aerobatic performances at an altitude of 2,100 meters by a homegrown light sport aircraft. (Photo/Liu Pengfei)
