Recently, a delegation of travel agencies from Russia and Mongolia visited Langshan Mountain—a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site and a national 5A-level scenic area. The visit aimed to gain a deeper understanding of cross-border tourism market demands and explore opportunities for cultural and tourism collaboration among Zhangjiajie, Langshan, and Guilin, as well as for the development of cross-border tourism cooperation.

Building on the integrated development framework of the Zhangjiajie-Langshan-Guilin Golden Tourism Corridor, this inspection tour focused specifically on the Russian and Mongolian tourist markets. The delegation visited key attractions such as Bajiaozhai, Tianyi Alley, and Chili Peak, conducting on-site inspections of scenic resources, tour routes, supporting facilities, and cultural tourism services. They immersed themselves in Langshan's Danxia landform, ecological landscapes, and distinctive folk culture, and spoke highly of the quality of the scenic area's resources.

"This is my first time visiting Langshan, and I'm absolutely thrilled. There are so many beautiful places in China, and being here feels like being in paradise," marveled one member of the Russian delegation, noting that Langshan's scenery is difficult to capture through a lens and is worth experiencing firsthand by every visitor.

A representative of a Russian travel agency noted that as part of the first group of Russian travel agents to visit Langshan Mountain, the team received a warm welcome. She added that the scenic beauty, ecological environment, and distinctive cultural tourism projects are highly attractive and well-suited for Russian tourists. She said, "The scenery here is beautiful and the air is fresh. We will include Langshan Mountain in our recommended itineraries and actively organize Russian visitors to the site."

This year, the synergistic effects of the Zhangjiajie-Langshan-Guilin cultural and tourism collaboration have continued to emerge, with significant achievements in transportation connectivity, resource complementarity, and shared tourist flows. This inspection tour by Russian and Mongolian travel agents is a key initiative for Langshan Mountain to expand its overseas tourist market and promote the internationalization of its cultural and tourism sector. Both sides will use this opportunity to establish a regular cooperation mechanism and promote Langshan Mountain's better integration into the Greater Zhangjiajie International Premium Tourism Route.

Moving forward, the Langshan Mountain Scenic Area will continue to deepen regional coordinated development among Zhangjiajie, Langshan, and Guilin; vigorously develop international tourist markets such as Russia and Mongolia; continuously optimize tourism services and product offerings; and accelerate the quality improvement and internationalization of the cultural and tourism industry in southwestern Hunan.
