During the inspection, Secretary Shen pointed out that relevant provincial and municipal units have worked together coordinatively to push forward the "Museum-park Integration" project, achieving initial outcomes in the preliminary work. It is essential to always handle the relationship between protection and development properly—expanding space to address the problem of congested pedestrian flow, while protecting the ecological environment. Greater emphasis should be placed on the people-centered development philosophy, optimizing functions and layouts to maximize the use of public spaces. It is necessary to continue promoting urban renewal in the surrounding areas, further refine the implementation plan, actively facilitate rational utilization of stock assets, and improve a market-based mechanism featuring diversified participation, while avoiding large-scale demolition and construction as well as inefficient and ineffective investment. Efforts should be made to strengthen organizational leadership and enhance collaboration among relevant departments, to ensure coordinated management.
Provincial leaders Wu Guiying, Liu Hongbing, and Li Min participated in the inspection tour.
