Hunan NPC Deputies Set off to Beijing for 2026 National Annual Two Sessions

Embracing the people's trust and high expectations in mind, some National People's Congress (NPC) deputies in Hunan Province departed from Changsha to Beijing by high-speed train on the morning of March 3, 2026. The deputies are to participate in the upcoming Fourth Session of the 14th NPC, committed to fulfilling duties and responsibilities with high spirit and full enthusiasm.




The national annual two sessions of this year are of great significance as they are being held in the first year of the "15th Five-Year Plan" period (2026-2030) and are major political activities in Chinese people of all ethnic groups. As they set off, the delegates expressed their deep sense of honor and responsibility. They pledged to keep their focus on the central tasks and priorities, stay closely aligned with the conference agenda, and actively offer suggestions and insights. They will concentrate on high-quality development and people's well-being, to convey Hunan's voice and tell Hunan's stories well. They committed to contributing their wisdom and strength to ensuring a good start and laying a solid foundation for the "15th Five-Year Plan" period.
