Renowned German travel magazine FVW TravelTalk recently featured a special section on Hunan tourism in its fourth issue, presenting the province's unique charm to Germany's tourism sector and discerning travelers. This special edition was produced with the support of the China National Tourism Office in Frankfurt.

A special feature on Hunan tourism.

Titled "Hunan—Wings of Imagination," the feature spotlighted Hunan's rich cultural and natural tourism resources through stunning photos and detailed coverage. It highlighted Zhangjiajie National Forest Park's iconic karst peaks—the inspiration for James Cameron's "Hallelujah Mountain" in Avatar. The article described Tianmen Mountain's breathtaking scenery as beyond what cameras can capture, with its roaring waterfalls and precipitous cliffs delivering awe-inspiring vistas. It also vividly depicted the thousand-year-old Miao ethnic traditions along the Tuojiang River in Fenghuang Ancient Town, while recommending the treasures of the Mawangdui Han Tombs in Changsha and the city's vibrant fusion of tradition and modernity. Additionally, the coverage highlighted several premium destinations: Liuyang, known as the "Hometown of Fireworks"; the vast Dongting Lake; Furong Town, a "thousand-year-old town hanging on a waterfall"; and, Hengshan Mountain, a sacred place of Buddhism.

The report specifically mentioned that China's visa-free policy for 48 countries, including Germany, has been extended until December 31, 2026. German travelers visiting China for business, tourism, family visits, or transit can enjoy visa-free stays of up to 30 days, offering them great convenience.

FVW TravelTalk, published bi-monthly, is one of the most influential professional travel industry media outlets in Germany. With its high-level expertise and extensive audience reach, the publication holds exceptional influence and credibility within the German tourism market.
