The 2026 Hunan Spring Festival Concert was held at the Hunan Grand Theatre on the evening of February 10. Shen Xiaoming, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, Mao Weiming, deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and governor of Hunan Province, and Mao Wanchun, chairperson of the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee, were present. The provincial leaders gathered with representatives from all walks of life for a musical feast ringing in the Spring Festival.

The concert was guided by the Publicity Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, hosted by the Hunan Performance Group, and performed by the Changsha Symphony Orchestra. The concert featured performances spanning symphonic music, traditional Chinese folk music, opera, vocal solos, and the folk instrumental ensemble such as Tujia Daliuzi (Baishou dance accompanied by the beating of gongs and drums). Over a dozen distinctive musical works were presented, offering the audience a musical feast that seamlessly blended the artistic essence of East and West.

Also present were in-service provincial leaders, newly-elected academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, outstanding provincial cadres recognized for their dedication and deeds, individuals honored for their contributions to flood control, emergency response, and disaster relief, "New Lei Feng Models in the New Era," public security officers, medical workers, university faculty and students, and resident representatives.
