On behalf of the CPC provincial committee and the provincial government, Secretary Shen welcomed Dhanin Chearavanont and his entourage. He remarked that the Charoen Pokphand Group, as one of the first foreign-funded enterprises in Hunan, has attained remarkable development achievements and has made positive contributions towards Hunan's economic and social development since the group started its business in the province in 1986. Heading in the direction set forth by President Xi Jinping, Hunan has continued to enhance the building of the "Three Hubs" and to accelerate its high-quality development. As an agricultural powerhouse, Hunan has broad space for cooperation with the Charoen Pokphand Group. Dhanin Chearavanont extended his gratitude to the provincial authorities for their care and support for the Charoen Pokphand Group's business development in the province. He indicated that the Charoen Pokphand Group is willing to carry out further in-depth cooperation with Hunan in areas such as agricultural machinery, deep processing of food, artificial intelligence, transformation of commercial complexes, and talent cultivation, so as to continue to achieve new outcomes in bilateral cooperation.

Also in attendance at the meeting were provincial leaders Chen Jing and Yu Hongsheng, as well as Mr. Xie Yi, senior vice president of the Charoen Pokphand Group.
