Anhua Starlight Night Market

Recently, Anhua County's Starlight Night Market was selected among the second batch of 50 Hunan Provincial Nighttime Consumption Demonstration Zones. The demonstration zone spans from Hualai Hengtai Mall in the west to Taoshu Square Starlight Night Market in the east, and from the Anhua County Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital in the south to Anhua Rome Square in the north. It houses a total of 298 shops covering various business types including dining, entertainment, retail, culture, sports, and services, with nighttime businesses making up 48% and annual turnover exceeding 50 million CNY.

The Starlight Night Market is brightly lit.

This year, Anhua County has actively developed its nighttime economy, providing diversified nighttime consumption and entertainment options, and enriching residents' nighttime dining, fitness, sightseeing, and shopping activities. Residents can enjoy snacks and late-night specialties around the Starlight Night Market Food Street; exercise and keep fit around Taoshu Square; stroll along the Zijiang River and take in Anhua's night views around Anhua Rome Square; and enjoy one-stop dining, drinking, entertainment, and shopping around Hengtai Mall.

To actively build a nighttime consumption cluster, the county has implemented multiple measures to regulate the new order of consumption. Regulations have been formulated for noise, hygiene, stall placement, and business hours, with key emphasis on fire safety, food safety, traffic, public security, and environmental safety. Regular inspections are conducted to provide residents with a clean, harmonious, and orderly consumption environment.

The demonstration zone is equipped with new consumption facilities, with bright, attractive lighting installed in the night market. Sanitary facilities, waste sorting and transfer equipment are placed at designated sites, and surrounding urban management duty booths, public security duty booths, public restrooms, bus stations, and parking lots are all available.

New consumption policies have been introduced. To fully leverage the roles of investment, consumption, and exports, the county town has issued an implementation plan to stimulate demand, and carried out activities such as "Honest Business Operations and Worry-Free Consumption" and "Standardizing County Management and Boosting the Night Market Economy" to promote consumption. It has also rented Taoshu Square to hold product exhibitions.

Well-known new merchants have moved in. The demonstration zone has many well-known restaurant brands and a wide range of business types, including the Hunan time-honored brand "Baojiachong" and the intangible cultural heritage brand "Anhua Leicha (Pounded Tea)." These businesses can provide high-quality services and products to meet the consumption needs of different groups.
