The century-old Huangxing South Road is one of the most prosperous business centers in Changsha. It was renovated in 2002 to become a 1,154-meter-long pedestrian street integrating shopping, leisure, entertainment, catering, culture and tourism. It is known as "the first street in Hunan". It has become a strong part of Wuyi Square business area.
