Mangshan National Forest Park is located in Yizhang County, Chenzhou City, with a total area of 198.33 square kilometers and a forest coverage rate of 99.01%. The park boasts the largest and most well-preserved primitive evergreen broad-leaved forests and abundant animal and plant resources in the same latitude zone of the earth, and is dubbed as a "green pearl in the same latitude zone of the earth" and a "flora and fauna gene bank". Mangshan Mountain is a tourist resort with an excellent ecological environment, and has been rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot, a national popular science education base, a provincial ecological civilization education base, and one of the top ten summer resorts in Hunan. In addition, Wuzhifeng Scenic Area, the core scenic spot of Mangshan National Forest Park, has been built into the first mountain-type scenic spot in China that provides barrier-free travel for tourists through cableways, barrier-free plank roads, elevators, escalators, hoisters, stair-climbing machines and other facilities.
