The 11th BIGGER Art Exhibition (Changsha) will be held at the Xie Zilong Photography Museum in Changsha from October 22 to 25. Themed "#FFFFaces" (a playful nod to the Chinese idiom for "covering every aspect" and the literal "masks"), the event returns to Changsha, inviting audiences to explore the authenticity and expression hidden beneath the "masks."

This year's exhibition brings together over 170 artists from 16 countries and 40 regions worldwide, spanning seven major fields: publishing, art, illustration, design, printing, toys, and material creation. The event also features six themed art exhibitions by domestic and overseas creators and publishing institutions, including those from Japan, South Korea, France, the UK, and Thailand. Many of these overseas special exhibitions are making their Changsha debut, offering audiences a diverse, international artistic perspective.
The six themed exhibitions boast a rich lineup:
-Japanese artist Shotaro Kitada presents two immersive paper art installations, drawing inspiration from his personal migration experiences and fictional narratives.
-South Korea's Watermelon Book studio hosts a touring exhibition of mini zines, showcasing 100 independent mini-publications by 100 creators.
-French artist Hugo Rocci presents a thematic exhibition focusing on painting tools, exploring the inherent artistic value of everyday objects.
-UK-based artist Joanna Blémont, known for her collaboration with the fashion brand Loewe, presents a mini watercolor exhibition.
-A joint exhibition featuring Thai self-publishing and diverse publishing brands showcases Thai zine culture, outstanding publishing works from both home and abroad, and creations by emerging domestic artists.
-Artron Culture Group presents an exhibition featuring award-winning Chinese book designs.

Together, they will showcase their unique creations and publications.

Visitors can watch street-style sign painting by Hou Siji, try their hand at woodblock rubbing with award-winning German publisher Lubok Verlag, and explore retro aesthetics through intaglio printing with Niu Xiaosheng. Other interactive highlights include bookbinding at the Bangkok Zine Workshop, creating collage postcards with BIGGER-exclusive materials, vintage magazine pages and creative stickers, and joining DIY workshops for cardboard mask making and screen printing.
