On October 29, the main bridge of the Tiaoyuan Xiangjiang River Bridge (a ferry-to-bridge project) in Zixishi Town, Dong'an County, was closed, laying a solid foundation for opening to traffic by the end of the year. The bridge is a major project for local livelihood, with a bridge length of 536 meters and approach roads totaling 1,149 meters. Once open, it will solve the travel difficulties of residents on both sides of the Xiangjiang River, eliminate safety risks of ferry transport, and strongly boost local economic development.
