The 140th edition of the China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, is being held in Guangzhou in three phases from October 15 to November 4. This year's fair, marking its 70th anniversary, features an exhibition area of approximately 1.55 million square meters and attracts 32,000 exhibiting companies. The Hunan trade delegation organized a total of 573 companies to participate, including more than 240 that have been recognized as national or provincial-level quality enterprises.

Hunan's exhibition scale has further expanded. There are 41 companies with brand booths, one more than the previous edition; the number of brand booths reaches 221, an increase of four. There are 552 general booth exhibitors, an increase of 10 from the previous edition; the number of general booths reaches 907, an increase of 23.

Changsha Infore Environment Industry Co., Ltd. secured a booth in the Service Robots Zone, while Hunan Fuyin New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Hunan Heyin Precious Metals Co., Ltd. obtained booths in the Fashion Accessories Zone. A number of Hunan enterprises made a concentrated appearance in the Canton Fair's New Quality Productive Forces Exhibition Zone, showcasing Hunan manufacturing's new image of moving toward innovation, intelligence, green development, and higher quality.

Infore Environment displayed its "Little Bee" 1-tonne and "Little Hornet" 3-tonne cleaning robots on site. Capable of operating in a variety of scenarios—from park squares to urban  auxiliary roads—these robots automatically refill water, recharge, and empty trash in one seamless process, attracting many buyers to stop and take a look. Liu Zhihao, the company's director of marketing, noted that after getting acquainted at the Canton Fair, a Malaysian client made a special trip to visit the factory and placed an order for several large garbage compactor trucks. The two parties have since become long-term partners. Participating in the Canton Fair helps companies promote their products and accelerate brand globalization. In 2025, the company secured 540 million CNY in new overseas orders—a 445% year-on-year increase—with sales leads generated at the Canton Fair accounting for approximately 15% of its total annual leads.

To help Hunan enterprises secure orders and expand channels, the Hunan trade delegation organized a preparatory meeting for the 140th Canton Fair, inviting four participating enterprises to share experiences in attracting customers at the Canton Fair and other overseas trade shows. According to the "'Hunan Trade Goes Global' Key Overseas Exhibition Directory" released this year, the province will organize and support more than 4,000 domestic and international exhibition participations by local enterprises throughout the year.

It was learned that a total of 562 companies from Hunan participated in the 139th Canton Fair, occupying more than 1,000 booths, with intended transaction volume reaching 350 million USD. Transaction volumes in markets such as Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand saw significant growth. The Department of Commerce of Hunan Province also organized 27 companies to hold a supply-demand matching event (spring) for Hunan's foreign trade industrial clusters, which generated nearly two million USD in intended transaction volume, helping small and medium-sized enterprises expand into diverse markets.
