Assisting Yueyang Quality Goods "Going Global"

On October 15, a launch ceremony for the "Yuemaotong" cross-border trade comprehensive service platform was held at the Yueyang China-Africa Economic and Trade Pilot Zone Headquarters Base. This marked the operation of another important cross-border trade public service hub in Yueyang, providing  digital and compliance-oriented full-chain support for foreign trade enterprises going global.

The "Yuemaotong" platform is positioned to "empower compliance, connect services, circulate data, and expand incremental growth." It is equipped with an AI-powered compliance intelligent brain, building a digital closed loop of "customs-foreign exchange-tax." The platform features core modules such as foreign trade export online mall, logistics service market, and comprehensive service market, enabling one-stop completion of enterprise registration, customs declaration, and tax refund processing. It establishes an eight-part ecological service system covering "customs, tax, foreign exchange, finance, commerce, logistics, warehousing, and documentation." This addresses the blockages and pain points of cross-border exports for foreign trade enterprises, helping them reduce costs, improve efficiency, and go global in compliance.

At the launch ceremony, 12 export enterprises and service providers signed cooperation agreements for settlement, becoming the first batch of authenticated users of the platform. Pan Hongjun, director of the Yueyang Municipal Commerce Bureau, introduced that the commerce authority will take the platform launch as an opportunity to continuously promote the construction of "cross-border e-commerce + industrial belts" in collaboration with regulatory authorities such as customs, taxation, and foreign exchange. It will drive enterprises in county-level characteristic industrial clusters such as mica, floats, and textiles to "migrate to the cloud, use data, and empower with intelligence." This will enable more "Yueyang quality goods" to reach the global market, and assist Yueyang in accelerating the building of a hub of reform and opening up in inland regions.
