Shoulder Your Backpack, Build Your Dream in Changsha

On October 11, the launch ceremony of the 2026 Changsha "Backpack" Talent Initiative and the first Citywalk Tour of Famous Enterprises were held at Yuxiu Building, Central South University. About 450 participants, including backbone members of youth league committees and student unions at universities in Changsha, student representatives, as well as talent workers from industrial parks, districts, and counties, gathered to witness Changsha's invitation to youth.

At the event, the Organization Department of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee (Talent Office of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee) released the 2026 Changsha "Backpack" Talent Initiative, expressing earnest expectations for university students in Changsha.

The "Backpack" Talent Initiative targets university students in Changsha, building an immersive talent attraction system covering the entire period of enrollment, study, and career selection. The initiative will be implemented in three stages, including "First Encounter with Changsha, the Star City," "Exploring the Star City," and "Taking Roots in Changsha." "First Encounter with Changsha, the Star City" attracts students to learn about Changsha through campus project support, social check-ins, and orientation season atmosphere building. "Exploring the Star City" relies on Citywalk tours of famous enterprises  and the "City Partner" super intern program to organize students to visit industrial chain enterprises. "Taking Roots in Changsha" precisely matches talent supply and demand through department-specific job fairs and graduation season publicity.

After the launch ceremony, the first Citywalk Tour of Famous Enterprises set off immediately. One route took participants to enterprises in the new energy industrial chain, such as Hunan Brunp Recycling Technology Co., Ltd.; the other to the Daze Lake Overseas Returnee Town and Chuangshazhou OPC Block for an immersive experience of Changsha's innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. Next, the Changsha "Backpack" Talent Initiative will continue to carry out a series of activities in universities across Changsha.

The event was guided by the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League of China (CYLC) and the Hunan Students' Federation, organized by the Organization Department of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee (Talent Office of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee) , and undertaken by the CYLC Changsha Municipal Committee, the CYLC Central South University Committee, and the Changsha Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology.
