The 12th Global Forum for Hunan Entrepreneurs will take place in Hengyang on September 22. On August 13, Mao Weiming, deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and governor of Hunan Province, visited Hengyang to inspect the preparatory work for the event. Governor Mao stressed the need to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of President Xi Jinping's important speeches and instructions on Hunan's work, sparing no effort and striving for excellence in all preparatory work to ensure that the event will feature brand influence, tangible results, good performance, and significant impact.

Governor Mao inspects the Hengyang Base of Chengdu New Radiomedicine Technology Co., Ltd.

New Radiomedicine Technology is a benchmark enterprise in the field of nuclear medicine in China. It plans to leverage the Hengyang Base to build a nuclear medicine industrial cooperation platform for  Hunan entrepreneurs nationwide, and to create the first full-industry-chain enterprise for emerging radiopharmaceuticals in China. The base is expected to start production in 2028. A spokesperson explained that choosing Hengyang as the project base lies in the city's advantages in resources, technology, and talent that are unique to the local nuclear technology application industry. Governor Mao emphasized the need to effectively integrate local nuclear raw material resources with advanced nuclear medicine technology, to improve, expand, and strengthen the nuclear medicine industry, and to better meet public health needs.

Hunan Yancheng Honghua Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., Hengyang Base of Hangzhou BOCO Electronics Co., Ltd. and RAMON Science & Technology Co., Ltd are notable representatives of the "Return of Hunan Entrepreneurs" and "Return of Hunan Alumni" initiatives, specializing in high-end cooling fans, high-end power supplies, and intelligent sensing respectively. After settling in Hengyang, the companies have grown into industrial leaders in niche sectors, effectively driving the quality improvement and upgrading of relevant local industrial chains. Governor Mao spoke highly of their sense of responsibility in giving back to their hometowns. He encouraged them to focus on cutting-edge technologies and industrial bottlenecks, strengthening R&D innovation and technological iteration, and attracting more upstream and downstream enterprises, related projects, and resources to Hunan, so as to grow and thrive while serving their hometown through "mutual commitment."

Hunan Survey Control Technology Co., Ltd. specializes in the R&D and production of fiber optic gyroscope inertial navigation systems and is currently accelerating industrialization, which was selected as one of the province's top ten scientific and technological research projects. Governor Mao encouraged the enterprise to continuously deepen industry-academia-research integrated innovation and bring more innovative achievements from "laboratories" to "production lines." He also urged relevant departments to continuously enhance support in areas such as finance, policy, and platforms to help the enterprise secure a leading position in the industry.

At the symposium, Governor Mao listened to a briefing on the preparatory progress and fully affirmed the early-stage achievements. He noted that all preparatory work has entered the final sprint stage, and asked the need to advance preparations from a big-picture perspective, implement plans to high standards, and provide high-level support to ensure that all tasks are carried out in an orderly and effective manner.

He called for full commitment to hosting a more distinctive gathering. The forum will serve as an opportunity to comprehensively showcase Hunan's image, tell Hunan's stories well, and fully highlight Hengyang's characteristics. This will enable Hunan entrepreneurs from home and abroad to collaborate on industrial development and jointly build a hub for business prosperity in Hunan, thereby effectively raising the profile of the "Invest in Hunan" brand and further enhancing the reputation of the "Return of Hunan Entrepreneurs" initiative.

He also urged efforts to make the conference a benchmark event. Focusing on building a modern industrial system and 12 key industrial chains, we should sort out niche sectors, resource advantages, and investment intentions, extend targeted invitations to high-level guests, hold a series of high-quality activities, and attract a batch of high-caliber projects.

He emphasized the importance of thorough preparation. It is necessary to work out timetables with a clear division of responsibilities, carry out comprehensive publicity, and improve service guarantee, so as to foster a favorable environement that respects, attracts, and serves Hunan entrepreneurs.

He stressed the importance of unity and cohesion. The conference should be run in a frugal manner, with strict observance of Party discipline. Provincial and municipal authorities should work in close coordination, and all parties should collaborate effectively to ensure the success of a spectacular and unforgettable forum.
