On August 3, Shen Xiaoming, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, met in Changsha with Jean-Jacques Bouya, deputy prime minister of the Republic of the Congo, and his delegation.

Secretary Shen, on behalf of the provincial Party committee and the provincial government, extended a warm welcome to deputy prime minister Jean-Jacques Bouya and his delegation. He noted that in January this year, Hunan and the Republic of the Congo reached a series of cooperation consensuses and signed a framework cooperation agreement on infrastructure construction. Half a year later, Mr. Bouya is leading a delegation to visit Hunan, which fully demonstrates the high importance the Congolese government places on friendly cooperation with Hunan. Hunan serves as a key gateway for China's economic and trade cooperation with Africa. The province is willing to work with all parties in the Republic of the Congo to earnestly implement the important consensuses reached by the two heads of state, further refine cooperation plans, and accelerate the implementation of signed agreements. Secretary Shen added that Hunan is committed to strengthening cooperation in areas such as BDS applications, artificial intelligence, and people-to-people exchanges, contributing to economic, trade, and cultural exchanges between the two countries.

Deputy Prime Minister Bouya expressed gratitude to Hunan for its warm hospitality, stating that his visits to Hunan enterprises impressed him with the province's development in scientific and technological innovation, intelligent manufacturing, and other areas. He hoped to further advance the implementation of the cooperation consensuses reached by both sides, accelerate the implementation of infrastructure cooperation projects, welcome more Hunan enterprises to invest and develop in the Republic of the Congo, and work together to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

During their stay in Hunan, Bouya and his delegation visited Changsha, Zhuzhou, and other locations. At Hunan Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd., they held in-depth discussions and exchanges on the "New Package Plan" project for economic and trade cooperation, and also learned about the company's development history and international business operations. At Hunan Satellite Technology Co., Ltd., Hunan New Wing Intelligent Technology Development Co., Ltd., and CRRC Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd., the delegation gained a detailed understanding of the "BDS +" industry applications, low-altitude economy scenario development, and new energy commercial vehicle manufacturing.

Ambassador of the Republic of the Congo to China Cyprien Sylvestre Mamina accompanied the delegation on the visit. Provincial leaders Wang Daoxi and Wang Junshou attended the meeting.
