The 41st Malaysian National Chinese Cultural Festival, together with the Malacca Dragon Boat Cultural Festival, opened on June 14. At the event, a "Friendship" Lanxi double-oared dragon boat produced in Lanxi Town, Yiyang City, made a stunning appearance on the Malacca River. Nearly 100 paddlers, commanders, helmsmen, gong and drum players, and suona players from both China and Malaysia pulled together on the 26.8-meter-long dragon boat, accompanied by the melodious Lanxi folk song "Dragon Boat Tune."
