On September 5, villagers were picking chrysanthemums in Luoweng Village, Shuping Township, Hongjiang City. In 2015, the village introduced professional cooperatives to develop chrysanthemum cultivation. The cooperatives prioritized recruiting poor households to take posts in field management, flower picking, and chrysanthemum baking. At present, the cooperative has 90 villagers employed, and their annual per capita income has increased by more than 20,000 CNY. (Photo/Yang Xijian, Zhou Jie)
