Hunan Industrial Enterprises Seek Cooperation in Hong Kong

The Hunan (Hong Kong) Emerging Competitive Industries Chain Cooperation Promotion Conference, one of the events of 2017 Hunan-Hong Kong Annual Trade & Investment Conference, was held in Hong Kong on April 26. Hunan Vice Governor Xiang Lili addressed the conference.

41 projects with a contracted investment of 64.5 billion yuan were signed on the site. Manufacturing projects were favored by investors, involving intelligent manufacturing, automobile, new materials, aerospace, and industrial robot. Tidfore Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd., the Cross River State Government of Nigeria, and Hong Kong Port Authority signed a one-billion-USD contract. The investment project is on construction of Calabar Port. This proves to be a highlight of Hunan industrial enterprise’s efforts in deepening international industrial-capacity cooperation.

During the trade fair, Hunan enterprises have actively talked with matchmaking firms from Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta region engaging in emerging industries.
