Secretary Du Inspects Changsha’s Four Core Areas Development

CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Secretary Du Jiahao (2nd L, front) learns about the construction of the South Railway Station and the east square of the Changsha high-speed railway new town on May 25.

 

CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Secretary Du Jiahao (2nd R, front) is introduced about the development of Malanshan cultural and creative industrial park on May 26.

 

On May 25 and 26, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Secretary and Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial People’s Congress Director Du Jiahao inspected in Changsha to know about the development of Changsha’s four core areas: university town located at the foot of Yuelu Mountain; high-speed new town; core area of airport economy demonstration zone; and, Malanshan cultural and creative industrial park.

Secretary Du stressed, “Efforts should be made to put into practice the principles stated in General Secretary Xi Jinping's major addresses and his new vision, thinking, and strategies for China's governance. Guided by the vision of innovative, coordinated, green, open and inclusive development, we will steer the new normal of economic development.”

“Constructions should pick up pace on the four major areas to cultivate new sources of economic growth and continuously optimize and improve urban functions, so as to make them pioneers in implementing the strategies of innovation-oriented development and the rise of Hunan via opening up.” Du added.

Du spoke highly of Changsha’s economic and social achievements made in recent years.

Provincial leaders Yi Lianhong, Cai Zhenghong, Zhang Jianfei, and Xiang Lili, and Central South University President Zhang Yaoxue accompanied Du on the tour.
