Changsha, Malaysia to Enhance Cooperation

Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee Yi Lianhong met in Changsha with the Counselor to Malaysian Prime Minister, Vice President (Women Chief) of Malaysian Chinese Association, Minister of Women, Family and Community Development, and Datuk Heng Seai Kie and her entourage on July 23, 2016.
 
Yi welcomed the guests on studying the cooperative projects in Changsha, adding that both sides have extensive communication and collaboration based on the long-lasting sound China-Malaysia diplomatic relations. Massive participation of all circles of Malaysia is welcomed in Changsha, so as to expand partnership among governments and enterprises. The CPC Changsha Municipal Committee and the People’s Government of Changsha will provide favorable services and policies in return, he added.
 
Heng visited Changsha to mainly inspect the Food Processing Industrial Park of Ningxiang National Economic and Technological Development Zone , aiming at reaching cooperative intent on jointly building the international food industrial park, launching and setting up equity funds with Changsha. She expected that the to-be-built Changsha-Malaysia Food Industrial Park will be strongly supported by the provincial and municipal governments to enhance and accelerate mutual exchange and cooperation. Details will be discussed in the future to achieve win-win results, she said.
