All scenic spots in Zhangjiajie were packed with tourists from home and abroad during this year's week-long Spring Festival holiday.

Statistics showed that during the first six days of the holiday, four scenic areas including Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Tianmen Mountain, Grand Canyon, and Maoyan River received 451,000 tourist arrivals, an increase of 60.14% and 297.41% over the same period of 2019 and 2022. The number of tourist arrivals hit a record high in Zhangjiajie in 2019.

Zhangjiajie has seen a robust recovery of the nighttime economy, driven by the holding of the first Tourism Development Conference of Hunan Province. On the evening of January 26, Dayong Ancient Town, Nanmenkou Food Street, and Weigang Cross Street were lit up and brimmed with festive atmosphere. Tourists from across the country enjoyed night views and tasted local food. The city's nighttime consumption market was booming.

Before the Spring Festival holiday, tourism-related authorities including tourism, market supervision, transportation, public security, traffic police, and health took effective measures to strengthen reception services in shopping, transport, public security, and medical care, so as to ensure a safe and orderly holiday travel.

During the holiday, Zhangjiajie organized tourism practitioners and more than 300 volunteers to provide consultation, publicity, and guiding services for tourists.
