The Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan (CZT) Intercity Railway West Ring Line Phase Ⅰ opened to traffic on June 28, 2023, enabling a remarkable reduction in commuting time between Changsha and Xiangtan to just 20 minutes. This railway connection symbolizes the integration of the urban subway systems of both cities, and signifies a significant milestone in the integrated development of Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan.
West Ring Line Phase Ⅰ
North-south Line
The line starts at Xiangtan North Railway Station of the Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Railway, runs northward along Tanzhou Avenue, passes through Xiangtan Jiuhua Economic and Technological Development Zone and Hunan Xiangjiang New Area Pingpu Cluster, and ends at Shantang Station, which is part of the Changsha Metro Line 3.
The first train departs at 6:30 am, and the last train departs at 10:00 pm.
