Secretary Du Calls for Modernization of Industrial and Supply Chains

On July 21, Du Jiahao, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, inspected the Liuyang Economic Development Zone and the Changsha Economic Development Zone for industrial project progress and enterprise production and operation. He stressed further promoting sci-tech innovation, making breakthroughs in core technologies, and elevating modernization level of industrial and supply chains. He asked to actively participate in the new development pattern where domestic and foreign markets can boost each other, with domestic market as the mainstay, and promote high-quality development of economy.

During his inspection tour, secretary Du asked departments at all levels to fulfill their responsibilities in ensuring stability on six fronts and security in six areas, thinking for the enterprises and responding to their needs, and giving more supports to the improvement of business environment. He called for initiative efforts to solve difficulties and problems of the enterprises in the aspects of new platform construction, core technology R&D, talent cultivation and attraction, industrial chain improvement, and exploration of domestic and international markets. Practical actions should be taken to support and protect market entities, and guarantee safety and stability of the industrial and supply chains.
