Xuefeng Mountain Huayao Scenic Area is located in Huxingshan Yao Township, Xiaoshajiang Town, Longhui County. It is one of Hunan’s representative tourism destination, and a mountainous resort well-known at home and abroad.

Chongmudang Ancient Village

In the east of Xuefeng Mountain, there is an ancient and mysterious ethnic group – Huayao. With a population of 8,000, Chongmudang Village is honored as “No.1 Huayao Village in China”. Ancient trees, flourishing flowers, and unsophisticated Huayao people make it a land of idyllic beauty and peace.

Wangxi Waterfall Scenic Spot

Wangxi waterfall Scenic Spot is a landmark of the scenic area. It includes Huayao villages, ravines, rare rocks, gorges, waterfalls, and verdant forests. Along the 1.5-km gorge, there scatters ten scenic spots and five waterfalls.

Huayao Wedding

The Huayao wedding show, China’s first immersive art comedy, concentrates on the distinct wedding custom of Huayao people, and their daily life. The audiences are invited to participate in this carnival, to appreciate folk songs, taste wedding banquet, and watch wedding rituals.

Sun Castle

The Sun Castle is a B&B with its design originated from Huayao’s sun-worship culture. There are 27 domed rooms surrounding a main building, like a big sun followed by a group of smaller ones. The rooms were painted with cultural or natural scenery patterns of local characteristics.

Notes: Tourists are required to purchase real-name tickets with their ID cards, and suggested to offer electronic health cards issued by the National Health and Commission. All tourists should have their temperatures taken and information recorded. During the epidemic period, visitors are required to show valid identity documents and health codes, and wear a mask when visiting.
