Since the epidemic began foreigners have encountered difficulties in living and fighting the epidemic due to language barriers and close contact.
In order to help foreign experts in Hunan understand the epidemic situation scientifically and prevent the epidemic correctly, the Hunan Provincial Science and Technology Department has provided epidemic prevention and control services for foreign experts working in Hunan, in accordance with the instructions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council and the arrangements of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial People’s Government. It has increased publicity, and paid attention to public awareness. It has quickly examined foreign experts who have been working in Hunan for a long time. It established a 2-hour reporting system for abnormal situations, and opened a bilingual epidemic prevention and control hotline. It has released the country’s first anti-epidemic cartoon English micro-video for foreign experts. So far, there have been no reports of foreign experts confirmed or suspected of having the virus (COVID-19) in Hunan.
