Twenty Projects Signed to Locate in Changsha During 2020 Hunan-Yangtze River Delta Economic and Trade Coop. Promotion Week

The 2020 Hunan-Yangtze River Delta Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Week Changsha sub-venue was held on June 29. A signing ceremony of major projects in Changsha's “100 Days of Hard Work to Achieve Half Annual Tasks and Goals” competition was also held simultaneously.

Zheng Jianxin, deputy secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, mayor of Changsha, and secretary of the CPC Working Committee of the Hunan Xiangjiang New Area, attended and delivered a speech. Xia Jianping, CPC Changsha Municipal Standing Committee member and executive deputy mayor, presided over the signing ceremony. Vice Mayor Zhu Dongtie attended.

Representatives from more than 60 enterprises including CCCC Second Harbour Engineering Company LTD., Sinohydro Bureau 8 Co., Ltd., and China Medical Devices Co., Ltd. participated.

At the signing ceremony, 20 high-quality projects were contracted to locate in Changsha, including GAC New Energy Vehicles, Idreamsky Valley (Changsha) Animation Industrial Park, FarmaSino Pharmaceuticals Preparations Production Base, JD Intelligent Connected Cloud Data Industrial Park, and 58 Kechuang (sci-tech innovation) Intelligent Industrial Park. Among them, there were 3 provincial projects with a total investment of 6 billion yuan, and 17 municipal ones, with a total investment of 11.325 billion yuan.

So far this year, Changsha has introduced 98 major investment projects, with a total investment of 129.81 billion yuan. The projects introduced this year are more than the same period in recent years, with higher quality and a larger amount of total investment. Among them, there are 64 projects of Fortune 500, China Top 500, and China Private 500 enterprises, with a total investment of 72.91 billion yuan. Fortune 500 enterprise Yihai Kerry, and China Top 500 enterprises iQIYI and Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group are the first time to set up offices in Changsha.
