497 Key Projects Invite International Investors

The Hunan Development and Reform Commission and the Hunan Department of Commerce publicized this year’s first batch of 497 key investment inviting projects, with an estimated investment of 1.8 trillion yuan.
The projects cover four sectors – infrastructure, new industrialization, modern service, and modern agriculture. There are provincial, and city and prefecture-level, projects. Most of the projects have a total investment of at least 500 million yuan each.
The investments of 61 infrastructure projects amount to 353.6 billion yuan. A group of expressways, including Yiyang-Changde expansion, Xinhua-Xinning, and Luhongshan-Cili sections, will invite investment in PPP mode.
There are 215 projects of seven categories in the new industrialization sector – equipment manufacturing; new materials; automobile and parts; biological medicine; electronic information; light textile and chemical engineering; and, mineral exploitation and processing. The total investment is 799.1 billion yuan.
There are 173 projects of four categories in modern service sector – commerce and logistics; healthcare and elderly care; cultural tourism; and, innovation and entrepreneurship. The total investment is 631 billion yuan. There are 48 modern agriculture projects, with a total investment of 49.8 billion yuan.
Equipment manufacturing and commerce and logistics projects are highlighted in order to coordinate with the upcoming Hunan (Shanghai) Investment Promotion Week. Investors can visit the official website of the Hunan Development and Reform Commission to get project information .
