From July 18th to 19th, top 15 contestants of the 17th "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students took a two-day tour in such places as "Qingdao Sea Rice Research and Development Center", "Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan District" and "iFLY TEK".
European Contestant Lu Silan, Oceania Contestant Lin Hao, American Contestant Ke Luhan, African Contestant Mai Lena and Asian Contestant Guan Huimin paid a visit to the Qingdao Sea Rice Research and Development Center.
They experienced how sea rice was produced and served. They tested the soil composition of saline-alkali soil and learned how to sow in the seawater with the assistance of technical teacher. After the activity, they expressed their admiration of China's sea rice planting technology and its development prospects in the future.
