There will be “4-8-16” activities: 4 major events – high-level visits, panel discussions, main activities, and field investigations; 8 themed activities; and, 16 matchmaking activities for cities and prefecture.

As planned, 242 projects will be contracted, with a total investment of 224.96 billion CNY. These projects will cover manufacturing, energy and urban infrastructure, agricultural industry, tertiary industry, and others fields. Thirty-four projects are to be invested by the Fortune Global 500 companies, top 500 Chinese enterprises, and China’s top 500 private enterprises, with an investment of 51.1 billion CNY. Among them, 18 are invested by the Fortune Global 500 companies.

Vice Governor He stressed that, the conference week would be Hunan’s highest-level and largest-scale trade promotion event that to be held outside the province, since the start of the 14th Five-year Plan period. Hunan will spare no effort to cooperate with the Greater Bay Area to achieve new breakthroughs and new results. More details will be planned to ensure an effective resumption of the event. Client invitation and investment promotion should be pushed forward in a targeted way. Hunan and Guangdong provincial authorities, as well as all related departments, cities and prefecture, should take the initiative to enhance communication and coordination. Solid work should be done in epidemic prevention and control, in accordance with requirements of the national, provincial and municipal health commissions, to ensure the event goes practical and safe.
