The Third Shuangpin Shopping Festival, or Brand and Quality Online Shopping Festival will take place from April 28 to May 12, 2021, according to the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce. Hunan Province will launch sales promotions simultaneously.

This year six Hunan online shopping platforms and companies will participate, an increase of four over the previous year. They include Friendship & Apollo Cloud and Hunan Suning, new retail platforms integrating online and offline businesses; Happigo, a media retailer; Xingsheng Youxuan, Chinese community grocery shopping platform; CNHNB and Hunan Chuangling, representatives of agricultural industry internet and quality agricultural products. 

A variety of promotion activities will be launched, including:
- Xingsheng Youxuan's 10 o'clock top-selling items, hourly discounts, and daily recommendations;
- Suning group buying day;
- Friendship & Apollo Cloud's Shuangpin products day and live streaming promotion;
- Happigo's consumption coupon and live streaming promotion;
- CNHNB to promote quality agricultural products to nationwide purchasing agents; and,
- Hunan Chuangling to upgrade its Hunan e-commercial poverty alleviation store into a rural vitalization store by promoting quality seasonal agricultural products.

The festival is jointly launched by the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State Administration for Market Regulation, the State Post Bureau and the China Consumers Association.
