The photo, taken on March 16, shows visitors viewing an exhibit at a Taoyuan embroidery exhibition. The embroideries on display date back to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and the Republic of China (1912-1949). The exhibition, hosted by the Hunan Museum and Taoyuan County People's Government, kicked off on that day. It displays more than 170 pieces, or sets, of Taoyuan embroidery works in the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China period, which were from public or private collections. It will open to the public free of charge until May 3. (Photo/Tian Chao, Long Wenyang, Hunan Daily)
