“China-ASEAN Build Maritime Silk Road” Interview Team Visits Changsha

A China-ASEAN Maritime Silk Road Construction Interview Team began a five-day visit to Changsha on October 24. It will conduct interviews on “New Opportunities for China-ASEAN Cooperative Digital Economy Development and Poverty Reduction”. Qing Lixin, who is the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Publicity Department deputy director and CPC Hunan Provincial People’s Government Information Office director, and, Chen Gang, who is a CPC Changsha Municipal Committee Standing Committee member and Publicity Department director, attended.

The 19-member team consists of ambassadors of the 10 ASEAN states and reporters. During their stay in Changsha, they toured Yuelu Academy and Orange Isle. They visited Sany Group, Sunward Equipment Group, and Changsha’s National Intelligent Connected Vehicle Testing Zone. They learned about the development of high-tech and cultural and creative industries at Malanshan Video Cultural and Creative Industrial Park, Hunan Broadcasting System, and Mango TV.

The team was led by Dino R. Kusnadi, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing . He said that through this visit, the delegates felt Changsha’s vitality, charm, and potential. Changsha and 10 ASEAN countries have great potential for international cooperation. He hoped that this visit will let more people from ASEAN member states know about Changsha and fall in love with it, increase exchanges and cooperation, and increase Belt and Road construction and cooperation.
