Zhu Zhongming

Vice Governor

To be responsible for the work related to science and technology; civil affairs; and, human resources and social security. To be in charge of the Hunan Provincial Science and Technology Department; Civil Affairs Department; and, Human Resources and Social Security Department. To liaise with the Hunan Association for Science and Technology and the Hunan Disabled Persons’ Federation.

Zhu Zhongming, male, Han nationality, born in April, 1972, is a native of Haining City, Zhejiang Province. He began to work in August, 1993 and joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in March, 1996. He obtained the master’s degree in public administration and is a Senior Accountant. 


1989.9–1993.8, studying at the Department of Finance and Audit, School of Economics, Wuhan University, majoring in auditing;

1993.8–1998.1, serving as staff member of the Office of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Finance;

1998.1–2001.1, serving as senior staff member of the Office of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Finance;

2001.1–2002.4, serving as principal staff member of the Office of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Finance;

2002.4–2005.4, serving as deputy director of the Office of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Finance;

(2002.4–2004.6, studying and obtaining an on-job Master’s Degree of Public Administration at the School of Economics, Zhejiang University);

2005.4–2008.11, serving as deputy director of the Office of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Finance; director of the Zhejiang Provincial Finance and Taxation Research Institute (concurrent post); and, editor-in-chief of Zhejiang Finance Tax and Accounting;

2008.11–2012.1, serving as deputy director of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Finance;

(2010.3–2011.1, attending the training course offered for the middle-aged and young cadres at the Party School of the CPC Central Committee);

2012.1–2012.8, serving as vice mayor of the Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province;

2012.8–2015.7, serving as member of the CPC Wenzhou Municipal Standing Committee and secretary of the CPC Oujiangkou New District Development and Construction Management Committee;

2015.7–2017.4, serving as deputy secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Auditing CPC Leadership Group and deputy director of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Auditing;

2017.4–2020.1, serving as secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Auditing CPC Leadership Group and director of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Auditing;

(2018.3–2018.7, attending the training course offered for the middle-aged and young cadres at the Party School of the CPC Central Committee);

2020.1–2020.4, serving as secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Finance CPC Leadership Group and director of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Finance;

2020.4–present, serving as Hunan vice governor and member of the CPC Leadership Group of the Hunan Provincial People’s Government;
