The Xiangxi Huayuan Shibadong Industrial Park started construction in Changsha on August 20, 2022. Zhang Yingchun, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and vice governor of the People's Government of Hunan Province, attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

At the ceremony, Huayuan County and Changsha County governments, Shibadong Group and Changsha Lingrun Real Estate Co., Ltd., and Xiangxi National Agricultural Science and Technology Park and Hunan Yashilin Cocoon Silk Technology Co., Ltd. signed cooperation agreements respectively.

The Xiangxi Huayuan Shibadong Industrial Park is located at the intersection of Beixi Road and Huangxing Avenue, Huangxing Town, Changsha County. The main part of the project -- the Huayuan County Enterprise Headquarters Economy and Supporting Public Service Building and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Service Center will include the Enterprise Headquarters Office Center, "Investment and Talents Attraction" Service Center, Training and Exchange Center, Technology Research and Development Innovation Center, Business Hotel and Conference Center, Business Incubation Center, Exhibition and Trading center, Talent Apartment and related supporting facilities. Upon completion, it will become an important window for Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture and Huayuan County to present and carry out industrial economic activities.

The construction of Xiangxi Huayuan Shibadong Industrial Park is not only an important achievement of Changsha's pairing-up support for Huayuan County, but also a vivid practice of working together to write a new chapter of rural revitalization in poverty alleviation areas and start a new journey of common prosperity. Huayuan County will take advantage of the great opportunity of assistance and support from Changsha City to build itself a demonstration county for rural revitalization at high standard. Efforts will be made to such key areas as industrial park construction, culture and tourism industry collaboration, promotion of featured products, and talent and technology exchanges. It will actively carry out wider, deeper, and pragmatic cooperation with Changsha City, jointly create a new model of rural revitalization, and innovate a new model of industrial cooperation.
