A centralized signing ceremony of 28 projects for the second quarter of 2022 was held in Ningxiang City in early July, to implement the strategy of "Strengthening the Provincial Capital" and foster new drivers for future industries. With a total investment of 18.6 billion yuan, the projects would become new engines to promote high-quality development of Ningxiang City.

In recent years, Ningxiang has vigorously developed energy storage industrial chain, engineering machinery industrial chain, intelligent household electrical appliance and hardware industrial chain, and food industry cluster. In the future, the city will focus on life science industry cluster. It has become the largest cluster for medical apparatus and instruments industry. The city has accelerated the development of life science industry through making plans, introducing special support policies, and establishing industrial funds.

The life science industry chain projects signed this time are a new engine for the future development of Ningxiang's industries. At present, there are more than 60 enterprises in the life science industry cluster in Ningxiang City, and the output value is expected to exceed 12 billion yuan this year.

At the signing ceremony, 18 life science high-tech projects were introduced, including the Truking Technology Polymer Material Industrial Park project of the Truking life science industry chain and the Hunan Chutian Huaxing intelligent equipment production base project, covering medical chromatography media, magnetic beads, consumable, accessories, gels, dressings, animal experiments and testing centers, medical equipment public service platforms, intelligent ultrasound image processing software and other medical fields. The projects will inject new impetus into the reinforcement, extension, and upgrading of the medical industrial chain of Ningxiang City.
