Hunan International General Aviation Expo

The first Hunan International General Aviation Expo will be held in Changsha and Zhuzhou between July 16 and 18, 2021. The Hunan Provincial People’s Government Information Office announced at a press conference on May 17.

The theme is “general aviation ushers in a better life”. Forums, exhibitions, and flying displays will be organized. The expo will integrate exhibition and presentation, negotiation and trade, scientific popularization, and interactive experience, to build a platform for domestic and international exchange and cooperation in general aviation industry. A “1+2+8+N” activity plan was revealed:

“1”— Refers to a major event: opening ceremony, also the main forum, at the Changsha International Exhibition Center on July 16;

“2”– Refers to an exhibition and a flying display. The exhibition will be held at then Changsha International Exhibition Center with an exhibition area of 60,000 sqm. The flying display will be conducted at Zhuzhou Lusong Airport. Well-known air show professionals will give performances of fixed wing aircrafts, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), model airplanes, powered parachutes, and ultralight aircrafts.

“8”– Refers to eight themed forums, events, and seminars, respectively on low-altitude economy high-quality development; general aviation development; Hunan aviation manufacturing cooperation and matchmaking; general aviation industrial ecology; China-U.S.A general aviation; UAV professional service and smart city construction; China e-flight; and, 6th national airline transport pilot training. 

“N”– Refers to several supporting activities, including new product presentations; enterprise matchmaking meetings; business training; scientific popularization lectures; and, observation visits.

This expo is hosted by the CCPIT Hunan Sub-council, Hunan Development and Reform Commission, Hunan Department of Industry and Information Technology, Hunan Airport Corporation, and authorities in Changsha and Zhuzhou.
