The Changsha Municipal People’s Government held a press conference on March 16. The 2021 Hunan Auto Expo organizing committee announced that the 14th Hunan Auto Show, also the 2021 Changsha Automobile Consumption Festival, will take place at the Hunan International Convention and Exhibition Center between April 30 and May 5. It will be a good platform for trading, display, and communication between auto makers and consumers. It will be the first indoor auto show in central China.

The six-day auto show will cover nearly 60,000 square meters. Over 100 auto brands from 20 countries will showcase more than 500 vehicle models. It will hit a record high in the aspects of auto brands, leader visits, new car debuts, concept cars, and new energy vehicles. World-renowned luxury cars, household car brands, and Changsha-based car brands will be displayed. 

This year's auto show will feature new energy vehicles, smart cars, recreational vehicles, and automotive aftermarket to demonstrate updates and trends in the national and global auto markets.

It is estimated that the number of visits may exceed 80,000, and the sales amount will be around 6 billion yuan.

The organizing committee has formulated a complete epidemic prevention plan for the auto show. Visitors are required to show their ID cards and admission tickets before entry. An intelligent epidemic prevention and control robot will be utilized to facilitate security check, which integrates 360-degree panoramic monitoring, infrared temperature detection, facial recognition, intelligent voice recognition, and intelligent big data analysis.
