I am glad to tell you that approved by the State Council of the People's Republic of China, the International Co-operation Forum on Resource and Environment, 2009 will be held on April 18th, 2009, on the Orange Islet, Changsha, Hunan.
Jointly sponsored by the Hunan Provincial People's Government, the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the People's Republic of China (MEP), the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), the China Society for Promotion of the Guangcai Program (CSPGP) and the China Enterprise Confederation (CEC), with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the United Nation Global Compact Office as its co-sponsors, the Forum will take Building a Resource-conserving and Environmentally Friendly Society as its main subject and focus on discussion and exchange on environmental protection, climate change and new energy so as to contribute to the international co-operation and development of environmental protection.
