Dawei Mountain Gorge Rafting



The Dawei Mountain Gorge is located at the southern foot of Mount Dawei National Forest Park. The gorge is deep and remote, endowed with cliffs and high mountains. The river is pristine clear. The rafting length is about 10 kilometers, with an overall drop of 143 meters. The maximum drop is 6 meters.

How to get there:
Take a bus at Liuyang Bus Station or Baisha Station to Dongmen, Dawei Mountain Town (8 yuan/person, 1.5 hours; departing every 30 minutes); then take a motorcycle (about 20 yuan ) or a minivan (about 50 yuan) at Dongmen to Longwangtan in Huamen Village (about 30 minutes), where the whitewater rafting starts.


Zhouluo Rafting



The Zhouluo Gorge is endowed with rich water resources. Rafters can enjoy "fast & furious" between narrow chutes and big drops. The 3-km rafting trip has an overall drop of 140 meters, with the maximum drop of 18 meters, about six floors high. Different curves dot the watercourse, giving the rafters different challenges and experiences.

Only one trip/day, starting from 13:30, Monday to Friday;
Anytime between 10:00 – 16:00, Saturday and Sunday

How to get there (two options):
1. Take a regular bus at Changsha East Bus Station to Zhouluo Rafting scenic spot (departure time: 12:00; bus fare: 20 yuan)
2. Take a regular bus at Changsha East Bus Station to Shefang Town (it runs every 40-60 minutes), and take a cab to Zhouluo Rafting scenic spot


Huanglong Gorge Rafting



The Huanglong Gorge Rafting is 4.8 kilometers long, at an altitude of more than 800 meters. The overall drop is nearly 100 meters, and the entire trip takes about 90 minutes. The gorge is covered with lush trees, where visitors can get close to nature and get relax.

It is about one hour drive from downtown Changsha to Huanglong Gorge Rafting.

Huangshi Cave Rafting



The Huangshi Cave Rafting offers 5-km huge, splashy wave trains and thrilling rapids. The overall drop is 100 meters, with the maximum drop of 2.8 meters. The whole rafting takes about one hour and a half. Besides whitewater rafting, you may enjoy bamboo scenery, gorge streams, and outdoor camp.

Fenghuang Gorge Rafting



Located near Shizhu Peak, Fulong Town, the Fenghuang Gorge is well known for its fast and furious rapids. It covers around 3,800 meters, with an overall drop of 198 meters and the maximum drop of 35 meters. You will find everything from calm pools to exciting rapids along the way. During the rafting, you may enjoy gorgeous natural scenery and inscriptions on rocks, making the activity perfect for relaxing.

How to get there: take a bus from Liuyang West Bus Station to Panchun (about one hour), and then take a bus from Panchun to the Fenghuang Gorge scenic spot (about 10 minutes)


Tianzi Rafting



The Tianzi Rafting is located in Weishan Mountain Scenic Spot, known as a “natural oxygen bar” in Hunan. It stretches 9 km, with staircase drops of 200 meters and 40 thrilling rapids. Self-help two-seater rafting is available.

Tianzi Rafting features stunning mountain views and comfortable weather at a good summer resort. The water park, the first of its kind in Hunan, is a good place for kids.
