Transportation-Xiangtan

Xiangtan has convenient waterways, highways and railways. The waterways take the Xiangjiang River as the main line, and the provincial and national highways play the leading role. A communication net that covers the whole city has been formed.


Air

It takes only 30 minutes to drive from Xiangtan to the Huanghua Airport. It has 39 airlines and can directly fly to big and medium-sized cities, Beijing, Shanghai, Gangzhou, Shenzhen, Hongkong and Bangkok etc.

 

Railway
Xiangtan railway station is situated in Yuhu District, and trains go directly from Xiangtan to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Guiyang, Wuchang, Changsha and other large cities in China. The Xiangtan-Guizhou Railway and the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway run through the city.

Highway

Highways radiate in all directions. National Highway No.107 and No.320 make the main trunk of the city's highway network. The Shang-Rui Expressway and the Jing-Zhu Expressway pass through the city, having 15 road openings in this area. Xiangtan has the highest density of expressways.

Urban Traffic
