1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with valid foreign passport, healthy body, good character, willing to abide by Chinese laws and regulations of the school, respect the habits and customs of the Chinese people.
2. Education Background and Age Limit:
(1) Undergraduate student
Length of schooling: 2-3 years( Junior);4 -5 years( Senior)
Eligibility:
For those to be undergraduates of arts, enrollment will be on the basis of competitive selection in light of degree certificates(equal to or above graduate from high school in China), medium stage C level certificates of HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi -- Chinese Proficiency Test), and the examinations and tests held by the universities.
For those to be scientific, medical, agricultural, or technological undergraduates, enrollment will be on the basis of competitive selection in light of degree certificates(equal to or above graduate from high school in China), primary stage C level of HSK result, and the Admission examinations.
Age limit: under the age of 25;
(2) Master Degree students
Eligibility: College graduate with bachelor's degree and recommendations of two vice-professors or professors, having passed enrollment examination; or graduating as an undergraduate in China at the same year, excellent in courses, recommended to be admitted without entrance examination;
HSK: Applicants for English-medium program whose secondary education was NOT conducted in English need to provide an English level certificate, and the Chinese proficiency requirements are not mandatory, but their degree-related thesis/dissertation shall in principle be written in Chinese, and the abstract of the thesis/dissertation shall be written in Chinese; applicants for Chinese-medium programs need to have passed the Chinese HSK test with Grade C of Elementary Level, or have a statement from their embassy which proves that their secondary education was conducted in Chinese.
Length of schooling: 2-3 years
Age limit: 18 -45
(3) Ph.D. student
Eligibility: Postgraduate with master's degree, recommended by two vice-professors or professors, passed entrance examination.
Applicants for doctoral studies must be of Master's degree, with certificates, list of courses accomplished, two recommendation letters by teachers with titles of associate professor or above, and pass the examinations or tests held by the universities and colleges. Applicants already in China should attend united doctoral students admission examinations held for native students. Foreign postgraduates in China who are qualified of graduating and studying for doctorates ahead of schedule can study for doctoral degrees in advance according to the relevant regulations.

(4) Chinese Language Learner
Eligibility: Equal to or above graduate from high school China.
Length of schooling:1 to 2 years
Age limit: under the age of 35;
For learners and trainees of Chinese languages, enrollment will be on the basis of competitive selection in light of education certificates.
(5) Visiting students
Eligibility: Equal to or above a sophomore grade.
Length of schooling:1 to 2 years
Age limit: 18-45
(6) Senior Visiting students
Eligibility: Postgraduate with master’s degree or Vice-professor or above
Length of schooling: within 1 year
Age limit: 18- 50
(7) Research Scholar
Eligibility: With Master's degree or above or studying for doctoral degree.
Length of schooling: within 1 year
Age limit: 18- 50
3. Entrance Exams and Proficiency
Visiting Students and Senior Visiting Students are admitted according to their diploma credentials, based on competitive selection.
Undergraduate students of liberal arts are admitted according to their diplomas, academic record credentials, and the medium stage C-level credentials for the HSK test, after passing entrance exams or proficiency assessment, based on competitive selection.
Undergraduate students of science, engineering, agriculture and medicine are admitted according to their diplomas, academic record credentials, and the primary stage C-level credentials for the HSK test, after passing entrance exams or proficiency assessment, based on competitive selection.
Master Degree or Ph-D Students are admitted by related universities according to their bachelor, or master's degrees, academic record credentials, and recommendation letters by two associate professors or professors, after passing exams or proficiency assessment.
Those who apply for enrollment out of China and are admitted without the entrance exam have to finish all courses and pass corresponding examinations before obtaining qualifications to work on graduation thesis. They would otherwise have to graduate as trainees.
Applicants in China have to take part the entrance exam for graduate students.
Graduating senior undergraduate or master degree students in China, who have met the requirements of being recommended to study for master, or doctor's degrees without the entrance exam, can be admitted by related universities according to corresponding regulations.
Undergraduate, Master Degree or Ph.D students and Visiting Students applying to major in disciplines of arts, have to offer the pictures, recordings, and audio-visual materials of their own works of art, as well as letters of recommendation.
Admission priority will be given to graduates who once studied in China and apply for further studies again.
