As a new energy automobile manufacturer, Hunan CRS Times Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd. revealed that over 2,000 electric buses would soon be put into use nationwide.

Up to June 2014, more than 4,000 new energy buses were being operated in cities like Tianjin, Changsha, Zhuzhou, Xiangtan, Kunming, Haikou, Nanning and Shijiazhuang, achieving a total operation mileage of more than 800 million kilometers and saving 20% to 50% of energy use in actual operation.

Liu Ling, deputy general manager of CSR Times Electric, introduced that Hunan Longxiang Bus Limited Liability Corporation has purchased 633 electric energy conservation and new energy buses since 2009. Compared with conventional fuel buses, new energy buses have 90% less particulate matter emissions, 75% less nitrogen oxide and 50% less carbon dioxide emissions.
