At 6:43 a.m. on June 12 (local time), the first Changsha - Nairobi flight CZ6043 arrived at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi after a flight of 10 hours and 43 minutes. This marked that the first Hunan-Africa direct flight successfully made its maiden flight.
Accompanied by Kenyan greeting folk dances and songs, representatives of the Kenyan Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the Kenyan Ministry of Tourism, the Kenya Airports Authority, the Nairobi Municipal Government, the JKIA, and other local government departments held a welcome ceremony for the flight at the JKIA.
