1st Train for Western Extension Line of Metro Line 2 Arrives in Changsha

The first train for the first-stage project of the westward extension of Changsha Metro Line 2 arrives at Huang Xing car depot.

In the new train, standing poles, handrails and cameras are all increased in number.

On the morning of March 26, the first train for the first-stage project of the western extension line of Changsha Metro Line 2 was transported to Huang Xing car depot. After a joint system debugging, the train will be operated on Line 2’s route of the first project. Trial runs will begin by the end of 2015, and the line is predicted to be operational by the first half of 2016.

The arrival of the first train for Line 2 means that the first-stage project of the line has entered a period of mechanical and electrical installation. According to the plan, the second train will arrive in the middle of April. Other trains will be produced, tested, and delivered in succession.
