Shiyan Lake
Shiyan Lake is a 5-square-kilometer (500 hectares) scenic spot located in the junction of Changsha City, Zhuzhou City and Xiangtan City. Surrounded by mountains, it features dense forests, lofty peaks, green waters and clear springs. It is reputed to be "a natural oxygen park" and "a dream of citizens."
As an AAAA scenic spot, Shiyan Lake is one of the Top 100 Hunan Scenic Spots, Top 10 Hunan Water Attractions, and 10 Most Popular Changsha Tourist Attractions. The park is also a base for professional development training and a popular spot for boat races.

Liuyang Xiangxing Mountain

Located in Dahu Town, Liuyang, Changsha, Hunan, Xiangxing Mountain is a AAA scenic spot. It is reputed as the ‘Small Guilin’ in eastern Hunan.

Daweishan Mountain National Forest Park

Daweishan Mountain National Forest Park is a large state forest park located about 148 kilometers from Changsha in Liuyang City. As the home to 23 plant species, 17 tree species, 1,200 species of butterflies and 14 species of rare animals all under the government’s stringent protection, Daweishan Mountain National Forest Park is nothing less than a natural animal and plant museum. Clouded leopard, pangolin and the Jiguan snake are present in the area.
It is also considered as a sacred place for Buddhism practice.Within the park you will find a total of 48 temples and temple ruins, including the Yuquan Temple and the Honglian Temple. In July, the temperatures are 23 degrees Celsius on average, making the 91 places of interest within the park the most ideal ones for a visit. 
To get there, you can choose to take either the morning or the night bus from Changsha City, or alternatively you can head first to Liuyang City before hopping on one of the many buses headed for this attraction.
