On August 3, CPC Hunan Provincial Standing Committee Member and Publicity Department Director Cai Zhenhong met in Changsha with a Taiwan delegation consisting of senior representatives of Want Want China Times Media Group and teacher representatives of Taiwan news media colleges. Mr. Zhou Ning, assistant director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, attended the meeting.

The delegation came here to attend the graduation ceremony of the third "Love in the Mango TV" internship exchange program. Mr. Cai welcomed the delegation and said that the cultural exchanges between Hunan and Taiwan are increasingly close. He added, “Hunan-Taiwan media are carrying out in-depth cooperation through various forms, bringing Taiwan culture to Hunan, and promoting Hunan to Taiwan compatriots.” Activities such as Hunan-Taiwan Cooperation Conference on Economy and Trade, Joint Interview of the Cross-Straits Media Delegation, and Taiwan Scholars’ Huxiang Culture Tour have been held for many sessions. The internship exchange program has been held for three consecutive years, and has become a well-received exchange platform for students majoring in media to broaden their horizon. Cai hoped that the program will be a better one next year.

CTI Television Chairman Ma Yongrui thanked the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Publicity Department, the Taiwan Affairs Office of Hunan Province, and the Hunan Broadcasting System for their support for the program. He believed that both Taiwan and Hunan media will achieve common development through continuous exchanges and learning.
