Senior Provincial Leaders Hold Talks with Internet Enterprise Chiefs

In advance of the fifth session of the 12th National People’s Congress, at 58.com Inc. in Beijing, Secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial People’s Congress Du Jiahao, and Deputy Secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Governor of Hunan Province Xu Dazhe visited some Hunan entrepreneurs engaged in internet. A forum was later held between provincial leaders and chiefs of internet enterprises to probe into the development of Hunan’s internet industry.

The forum was attended by Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology Chen Zhaoxiong, and provincial leaders including Hu Henghua, Zhang Jianfei and Lai Mingyong.

CEO of 58.com Inc. Yao Jingbo, founder of Talkweb Information System Inc. Li Xinyu, CEO of Inke Feng Yousheng, iDreamSky CEO Michael Xiangyu Chen, 58 Daojia CEO Chen Xiaohua, IDG Capital’s founding partner Xiong Xiaoge delivered speeches at the forum. They shared opinions and made suggestions on such issues as establishing mobile internet venture fund, building mobile internet corporate headquarter in Hunan, fostering Hunan into a mobile video capital, strengthening introduction and training of high-caliber personnel, and making preparations for the setting up of Huxiang College.

Secretary Du thanked for their long term support and contributions to the development of Hunan’s internet industry, called for related departments of the province analyzed and absorbed these suggestions to help make upgrades in internet industry.

He also expected that these internet enterprises’ chiefs could give full play to their advantages in capital, social relationship, and influence to increase investment in Hunan and support the advancement of their hometown.
