Zhuzhou Holds Major Investment Project Signing Ceremony

The Zhuzhou government held a Major Investment Project Signing Ceremony on January 5. Agreements for twenty-five projects worth a total of 16 billion CNY were signed. They included a modern agricultural project, 20 industrial manufacturing projects, 3 tertiary industry-related projects, and an energy and urban infrastructure project. 
A farming and food cultural project with a total investment of 6 billion CNY was announced to showcase farming and food culture. It was to build an agricultural and food exhibition town in east Hunan, and a leisure, recreation, education, meditation, tourism, and living center for Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Xiangtan. 
Recently, Zhuzhou City has implemented a strategy of “innovation-driven, transformation and upgrading”, highlighted industrial revitalization, and taken the lead in comprehensive strength in Hunan. The city was included into the list of 40 cities with the most successful economic development during the 40 years of reform and opening up, the Top 30 Best Prefectural-level Cities in Mainland China, and the Top 100 Cities in Industrial Competitiveness. It has a better development environment for enterprises, with more than 90% of the city's affair-handling procedures simplified.
